The Challenge
Simran sought elegance, and Gagan desired a regal look. With a year to plan and style, we aimed for cohesive family styling and sentimental details.
Styling Needs: Simran did not have a clear vision for her bridal look. Her mood board was mixed, featuring both reds and pastels. The groom, Gagan, had a very specific requirement—he wanted a royal and standout look. Additionally, they wanted their entire family to be styled cohesively.
Time Constraints: The couple reached out a year before their wedding, providing ample time for outfit curation, trials, and customization. However, finalizing and executing all details across multiple events was a meticulous process.
Personal Preferences: While Simran wanted grandeur and elegance, Gagan was firm on having a regal and traditional look. The couple also desired to incorporate sentimental elements, such as engraving the names of Gagan’s late brother and grandmother inside his sherwani.
The Solution
Through personalized consultations and meticulous styling, we curated Simran and Gagan’s wedding looks, ensuring a perfect blend of elegance, tradition, and personalization while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic for the entire family and bridal party.
Consultation Process: We began with an extensive consultation, discussing Simran’s mixed preferences and helping her narrow down her choices by trying different color palettes and styles. Meanwhile, for Gagan, we focused on a royal and timeless look.
Outfit Selection:
- Anand Karaj: Simran opted for a mint-colored lehenga from Rimple & Harpreet, which featured intricate embroidery and a voluminous can-can skirt for a grand effect. She completed her look with a long veil for a majestic entrance. Gagan was styled in an ivory couture Sabyasachi sherwani with antique gold embroidery paired with a golden safa and turban.
- Sangeet: Simran embraced a vibrant Punjabi aesthetic with an Ameeran lehenga featuring a riot of colors, paired with a customized blouse and an embellished parandi. Gagan’s bundi was designed with the same embroidery and color palette, ensuring a perfectly coordinated couple look.
- Reception: Simran fell in love with a gold-embellished Manish Malhotra lehenga that exceeded her budget. We worked closely with the designer’s team to modify the embroidery and lighten the dupatta’s weight to make it budget-friendly and practical for dancing. Gagan was styled in a velvet chocolate brown tuxedo, complementing Simran’s golden look.
Accessories and Details:
- Simran’s jewelry was real and sourced from Punjab. We assisted in selection via video calls.
- Custom kaleera from Rabatta, featuring motifs of Simran’s dog, love story, and wedding date.
- A special wedding palla was arranged to ensure the bride’s dupatta remained undisturbed during the pheras.
Family Styling: To ensure a cohesive and picture-perfect look, we styled the entire family with a well-coordinated color palette. Both mothers wore Ameeran bubblegum pink sharara suits, with slight embroidery and length variations customized to their body types. The bride’s brother and both fathers were dressed in Lalit Laungani, ensembles with intricate embellishments and perfect tailoring. Their outfits were color-matched with the mothers for a balanced aesthetic.
Bridesmaids & Groomsmen Styling: For the bridesmaids and groomsmen, we created a detailed color palette to maintain a synchronized and elegant look. The groomsmen were provided with custom pagris and pocket squares that seamlessly blended with the wedding’s overall color scheme. A styling dossier was shared with them, ensuring everyone was well coordinated and picture-ready for the big day.
Implementation
We ensured perfect fittings, seamless vendor coordination, and a meticulously styled wedding party with a well-planned color palette and detailed styling dossier.
Fittings and Adjustments: Since wedding outfits are finalized months in advance, we conducted re-measurements over video calls to ensure perfect fittings despite any weight fluctuations.
Coordination with Vendors: We worked closely with designers, including Rimple & Harpreet, Sabyasachi, Manish Malhotra, Ameeran, and Lalit Launganis, to ensure seamless customization and timely delivery. Special engravings on Gagan’s sherwani were arranged through our designer friend, as Sabyasachi does not offer such personalization.
Final Presentation: The entire wedding party was styled according to a meticulously planned color palette, ensuring a picture-perfect look for the entire family. We provided a styling dossier outlining outfit details and accessories for each family member.

Simran and Gagan were delighted with their personalized, well-coordinated looks, and they received praise for the seamless styling that beautifully enhanced their wedding and photographs.
