The most common looks are cut-outs around the waist to highlight your natural body shape. With the 90s super thin body shape becoming trendy again, dresses with stomach cut-outs are also quite popular. But, remember that there are multiple variations to be seen this season, so find the correct fit for yourself.

Summer in Black

In the last year, we have seen a resurgence of 90s fashion along with the heroine chic body type. So it makes sense that a lot of clothes made just for a super skinny girl are making a comeback too. Much to many people’s horror, a widespread trend on the runways for summer 2023 was low-rise everything. Statement low-rise pants were a key piece in many collections. But, if you have sworn to never go back to low-rise again, like us, then pray for the persistence of the high-rise bottoms. 

Sheer Fabrics

With the concept of clothing for being out of the house, transparent fabrics continue to surround us. As we mentioned, the theme this season is boldness and transparent clothes definitely fall into this category. You can go for fully sheer dresses and tops. Alternatively, if you want to wear this trend in an understated manner, simply opt for sheer panels or translucent textiles. 

Red Is A Popular Summer 2023 Fashion Trend

Remember Rhianna’s all-red Superbowl performance look? Wasn’t that simply unforgettable? Various hues of red were quite popular on many runways this season. It seems to have started replacing the Valentino Pink that was prevalent for the last couple of years. As opposed to the subtle hints of scarlet that we often see, designers this year chose to paint their models in red. We saw everything from crochet and mini dresses to full-length gowns and power suits. The summer 2023 fashion trends are the time for in-your-face saturation.
