A Three Event Wedding Celebration

“Sometimes the bigger picture is just you and I and our closest family and friends,” said our bride, and we couldn’t agree more. The covid era has shown us that weddings can be celebrated with just our closest people and still be fun. All a couple needs for their wedding day is their people, their dream outfits and some cake! And so we at Styl Inc. collaborated with some of the best wedding designers to create a three-event intimate wedding ceremony look perfect for any couple to make a statement at their small, big day.
The vision for our intimate wedding shoot was to keep everything light, fun, and full of life. Our team carefully chose and put together every single outfit to create an intimate wedding of any couple’s dreams. It was a three-event shoot including a fun champagne picnic Haldi, an intimate sundowner wedding, and a classy cocktail party.

An Intimate Champagne Haldi Ceremony

Intimate Wedding

Firstly, we planned a fun filled brunch haldi party, and we wanted the outfits to be as sparkly and fun as the drinks. Quirky, OTT glam and unconventional was our memo for the Haldi ceremony. The minute we decided on the theme, we knew we wanted a Papa Don’t Preach lehenga for the bride and to match her glam, we chose Payal Singhal for the bridesmaids.

We picked a white cropped lehenga with stunning 3D embroidery and embellishments for our bride. It was a statement piece that was still super comfortable thanks to the cropped length of the lehenga and the snug fitting of the blouse. We styled the lehenga with really OTT haathphool, kaleeras and choker for that extra dose of glam.

As for the groom, we styled him in a fully sequined kurta from Abhinav Mishra. We wanted the groom to be a head turner, without overpowering the bride’s outfit and that’s exactly what we got. While the outfit was full of bling, the color was a muted grey and so it was perfect for the groom.

Bridesmaids and groomsmen for Haldi

As for the bridesmaids, we chose the most playful and flirty ensembles from Payal Singhal. The lehengas were all in bright summer colors. We absolutely loved how the outfits matched the floral and festive vibe of the event with really unconventional and quirky embellishments like tassels, pompoms and neon threadwork stealing the show.

For his best men, keeping up with the theme, we chose kurtas and bundis in floral and quirky prints. We specifically chose bright colors for a chipper, summer brunch vibe and the mix of traditional and contemporary made the outfits stand out.

Styling the parents for the Haldi was really a no brainer. We did not want the parents to be restricted to boring outfits so we chose bright colors and lively prints for them. The mothers were styled in festive printed suits from Patine while the fathers were styled in solid kurta pajamas with printed bundis from Payal Singhal.

An Intimate Sundowner Wedding Ceremony

Intimate Sundowner Wedding

Our second event was a intimate wedding ceremony – a sundowner function in a lush garden area. We wanted everyone to look glam, wear the best clothes and still feel comfortable to dance all day. For our bride and groom, we picked out stunning pastel outfits from Sahil Kochhar.

We styled the bride in a fully embroidered champagne rose lehenga. The color, we deliberately chose to go with the bride’s dusky skin coloration. We further styled the lehenga with a beautiful embroidered dupatta draped as a veil and some OTT heritage jewelry to add all the bling a brides deserves for her big day.

For the groom we chose a similarly embroidered pastel green sherwani. Without jumping on the matching outfits’ bandwagon, we made sure the bride and groom complemented each other well. To accessorize the groom’s sherwani and complete his look, we gave him a layered emerald mala.

Bridesmaids and groomsmen for wedding

Bridesmaids are the life of any wedding and they deserve outfits that are lightweight, but still gorgeous. For our bridesmaids, we chose lightweight printed lehengas from Ritu Kumar. While the skirts had floral prints, the blouses had minimalistic embroidery making the ensembles perfect for a day wedding. The color palate we chose was very fresh and summery with shades of blue, orange, peach and pink. To complement the lehengas, we picked out very feminine heritage jewelry from Shri Paramani Jewelers.

The groomsmen were all styled in kurta pajamas and bundis from Rajesh Pratap Singh. For them too, we kept the color palate fresh and very unconventional with shades of purple, green and pink. The outfits were all in solid colors and complemented the bridesmaids’ printed outfits superbly well.

We styled the mothers in embroidered saris from Ekaya Benaras, and the fathers in light hued sherwanis from Rajesh Pratap Singh. Their outfits were  lightweight and breezy to allow them the freedom to do all the running and socializing.

A Black Tie Intimate Cocktail Ceremony

The third event was a youngsters only black tie cocktail party. There was a lot of champagne, cake, good food and a beautiful Great Gatsby inspired setting. For this event, our vision was tuxedoes for the dashing men and some gorgeous elegant gowns for the ladies. We chose outfits from Shantanu and Nikhil and styled them with stunning diamond jewelry from Kotawala Jewelers.

The men looked their dapper best in the tuxedoes while the gowns had the most amazing silhouettes and fluid drapes. With a dark and jewel toned color palate, everyone looked straight out of a glam Hollywood party. And that’s how we wrapped up the shoot with the most stunning and head turning event!
