It sure does help a whole lot in repurposing old outfits! Not only are they perfect to add to your bottoms but even perfect for the waist for a whole lot of looks. Skirts are perfect on their own no doubt. However, if there’s a skirt you are bored of but would love to get some more use out of it then add a belt to it. If it’s a plain simple, solid coloured skirt then wide belts for women with a visibly large buckle would go well. Add a solid top and if you like a blazer on top and you are office ready. If you are looking to amp up a nice body hugging sleek skirt for a day out then a simple sleek belt would be good. You can even opt for a thin chain belt to the mix. If you love pencil skirts then don’t be hesitant to add a belt there too. A thin, simple black or brown belt would do with your chic pencil skirts.

High-Waisted Pants

High-waisted pants are super in right now. So most likely chances are you own a pair too. If you’ve overworn your fav pants then start adding belts to those. Of course, you can create perfect office outfits with the pant belt combo. Even if you are headed out you can create some great outfits. Now if you are opting for some cigarette or straight fit pants then we recommend a sleek to medium-width belt. On the other hand if you prefer them flared pants then a thick waist belt should do. If you are headed for work, opt for a nice satin or cotton shirt and a pair of heels with the pants and thick belt and you are sorted. To make it look chic add a coat or blazer if you prefer. If you are headed out for a casual evening then a pretty blouse would work very well too!

Winters are here and who doesn’t just love their knitwears and boots? Of course, one can run out of ideas with winter clothing due to the slight lack of options. What comes in handy then is a pretty belt. Add some statement belts to your winter outfits to change it up. If you’d like to amp your favourite jacket or knitted cardigan add a belt to that. It looks especially good with an oversized knitted cardigan. Not only will it keep you feeling cozy and warm but also make you look stylish and chic. Match the jacket or cardigan with some nice fitted pants and a pair of boots. If you wish to get a bit more dressy then go ahead and go for a dress or skirt and add a cardigan or jacket on top of it with a belt. Make sure you go for at least knee high boots to help you keep warm. Accessorize well and you have yourself an amazing outfit!

If you love sleek looks then go ahead and add a waist belt on top of your blazer or coat. It will cinch the coat and give you a whole new look. Again you can make it office as well as hangout appropriate. For office, pair the blazer with a pair of flared pants and add a belt on top of the blazer. It’s as simple as that. Make sure you opt for a nice formal belt for this look. If you are headed out to meet friends or for a date then you can go for some nice flared jeans too depending on where you are headed. You could add a tank top underneath and go for some golden layered necklaces or just simply opt for a solid turtleneck. If it’s a day thing then you can also pair the blazer and belt with a flowy dress. Contrarily you can even go for a pleated skirt with the combo with a pair of heels.

We think everyone loves a good shirt dress. If you don’t own one you can very well customise it from your wardrobe. All you need is a nice crisp oversized shirt. Add a good belt of any size on top of it and you have yourself a new outfit. The shirt with belt style always works. You can very easily create a lot of chic outfits like this. For summers add some sneakers and jewellery and you are good to go. For winter you can opt for thigh-high boots and add a cardigan, blazer or coat on top to complete the look. If you love the whole cinched waist corset type of look then go for a good thick belt that covers almost from underneath the bust to the waist.

A classic, waist belt for dress can make any of your old dresses which you’ve probably forgotten about, new. It really takes almost zero effort and you are ready to head out. Do make sure you know how to wear a belt with a dress. Of course, it wouldn’t be suitable for all kinds of dresses like sequined or lace or dresses with any heavy work or material. But definitely cotton dresses are game, so are even satin dresses, make sure it’s a thin belt. If you are creating a wrap around dress with one of your old shirts or something of that sort, then of course a good belt is really important. Solid coloured, simple fitted dresses are also perfect to add belts too.
