As a Bengali bride, the bridal bindi design that you opt for is super important. Of course that is not to say that it is a mandatory requirement either. If you are not someone who particularly enjoys doing that then you can even skip it. However, if you are someone who loves doing the full traditional thing then you ought to know which design is for you. It’s your big day so obviously don’t want anything to go wrong. Not especially something that is going to evidently show on your face. The right design is very important for that reason. Not only that, make sure you find the right person to do the bindi art for you. Be it someone in your family or a professional, the right person is very important. Now moving on to picking the right designs, here’s a low down!

Here are some Bridal Bindi Designs for you to choose from.

The Classic Bridal Bindi Design

If you are all for the super traditional vibe then a classic design like this is what you can opt for. It’s a very intricate and elaborate design so there’s a lot you can play with. Yes it’s very important you ask for an expert to do this for you. If your makeup artist has some good experience making this then you are sorted. Keep the centre a bit broad and follow along closely with the edges of the brows. If you wish, then keep just a red bindi in the middle and a white design on the sides. Otherwise you could definitely also mix some red dots in the white design. Make sure to not make the design with red as it would make your look rather imbalanced. With a red saree, and bangles and all things red, a red design is what you should refrain from. For a classic yet graceful bengali bridal forehead design, this is  what you should go for.

The Simple Dots

If you are all about minimalistic look then then a classy dots Kalka design is for you. It’s so simple and elegant and beautifully adds to the look! Remember Bipasha Basu’s wedding look? The simple dot design looked oh so elegant. All you need is a big bindi in the centre with red and white dots surrounding it. Further just trace along the brow line with alternate coloured dots. You could even dot it in a triangular shape to create something different. It’s simple to create and looks classy too, so really it’s a great option for you!

Focused on The Centre

You could just focus the design on the centre of the forehead. You don’t have to go all way down to the arch of the brow. A big bindi is what you need and surround it with a nice white design. Again it’s more towards the traditional side, so if you want that then go for this. This bridal kalka design is the perfect balance between subtle yet strong. It’s also not as time consuming as a full-on design and can be achieved easily. Yes, when it comes to intricacy it’s definitely higher, so one who is experienced ought to do this for you. Again you could choose between going for full white design or a adding a bit of red to it. The only white one is simpler and the bits of red are bound to grab the attention.

If you wish to go for something in the middle i.e., neither too strong not even the dots, then do this. This simple bridal kolka design is much like the classic one but a lighter variant of the same. Go for a design that is not too spread out or big. Something that takes a very thin space on your forehead. You could even consider going for lighter strokes of the pen. This is suitable for people with a smaller forehead. If you are going for a big mang tika then also you could do this to balance the look. If you go for a bigger design with the big maang tika then it will cover up your whole forehead. You surely don’t want that.

All The Way Down to The Cheek

If you are all about the chandan design on forehead then there’s really nothing better than this for you. If you want it to be the focus of your look then draw it all the way down to the cheek. It’s super traditional as well, so if that’s what you like go for this. Just know that it’s a pretty loud option so tone down everything else in the look. That will give your look a good balance. Go for a big bold bindi, keeping up with the kind of look and then an elaborate design that goes down to the cheek. Go for muted sarees with light work and light jewellery and your look is sorted.

Starting From The Crown

If you’d like something totally new and different then start your design from the crown. It’s a unique forehead kalka design for brides. Of course, this is not the kind of design you can trace along the shape of your brow. However, to add a bit more to it you could just have a design on the cheek. It will compliment the design on your crown. There’s a whole lot of different designs you can do with this and all totally different from the usual ones. If you do feel confident doing something new then this what you should opt for.

And these were just some beautiful designs for you to opt from on your big day. Just consider the size of your forehead as well as the rest of the look. Once these factors are clear, deciding on a design won’t be that difficult a task. Again, we can’t stress enough on the right person doing the job for you. It’s your big day after all. Which design is your favourite?
